Imaging and Radiology
Imaging services at Liberty Regional Medical Center are staffed by experienced, registered and certified technologists; ARRT, RT(R), RT(R)(M), RTR (CT), (CMS), ARDMS, RDCS, ARDMS (V), and Board Cerfified Radiologists. All of our equipment is state of the art and inspected annually.
There are two portable x-ray machines and an BV300 Plus Phillips C-arm to accommodate any emergencies or surgery needs that are required by our facility. We have teleradiology available with an E-Med Lumiscan 75 system that gives us immediate after hours contact with a Radiologist from Memorial Health University Hospital during any emergency.
CT
Our CT Suite is composed of a Siemens Dual Slice Somatom Emotion whole body computed tomography system. It can produce 0.6/1/2/3/5 and 10 mm slice widths.
The Shimadzu R and F Room
Our Shimadzu R&F room is a top of the line angio-unit fully digitalized by Infimed. Our RNF Toshiba 80F high frequency unit is fully digitalized. One General Electric 65kw with Hi-Low and floating tabletop to accommodate trauma patients with speed and accessibility is in close proximity to our Emergency Department. We have two Kodak M6B processors to assure us of no down time. All digital equipment is host attached to two state of the art Kodak laser imagers. Our Mammography Suite is equipped with a GE unit and an Kodak Min RII mammography dedicated processor. This unit is FDA, MSQA, and ACR certified. We have registered ARRT, ARRT(M) mammography technologists on duty six days a week.
Ultrasound Department
Our Ultrasound Department consists of two high-resolution sonography machines, each digitalized for top quality resolution films. All sonographers are registered and certified in their specialty field. The machines listed are two Hewlett-Packard ultrasound machines.
Cardiology Technologists
Our Cardiology Technologists are experienced and registered in cardiac and echo technology. The Cardiology Department is equipped with a Hewlett-Packard 5500 echocardiology machine with harmonics, color Doppler, and fully digitalized for superior resolution and quality.
We have a once a week Mobile MRI system with dry view laser processing to accommodate our patients. Liberty Regional Medical Center is striving to give our patients the newest state of the art top quality care with a full-service Imaging Department.
